Implementing Entities and Attributes

Now  which  you  have  become  familiar  with  the  three  major  concepts  used  in  relational modeling it is time to see how these concepts are used in SQL Server. Attributes and Entities are implemented in SQL Server as columns and tables, respectively. The following subsections describe column and table characteristics in SQL Server’s terminology. You can see how to apply appropriate column constraints and choose a primary key.  The following main section deals with how relationships are defined among tables in a database in SQL Server.
