Interview is the oral examination of candidates for service. It is the most essential step in the selection procedure. In this step, the interviewer tries to get and synthesise information regarding the abilities of the interviewee and the need of the job. Interview gives the recruiter chance to following:

  1.   size up the interviewee's agreeableness;
  2.   put questions that are not covered in tests;
  3.   acquired as much pertinent information as possible;
  4.   Notice subjective aspects of the candidate - appearance, facial expressions ,nervousness and so forth;
  5.   make judgements on interviewee's intelligence and enthusiasm;
  6.   Give facts to the candidate about the company, its, programmes, policies etc., and promote friendliness towards the company.
