Coulometry:
Coulometric techniques of analysis are based on the measurement of quantity of electrical charge which passes by a solution during an electrochemical reaction. The principle of coulometric method of analysis is governed through Faraday's laws of electrolysis.
In the year of l8l3, Faraday conducted various experiments on the decomposition of electrolytic solutions through passage of electric current. Based on his experimental output, he postulated two laws. They are called as Faraday's laws of electrolysis.
