Objectives:

After studying this unit, you should be able to

• write the voltage and current equations by using Kirchhoff's voltage and current laws and solve circuit problems,
• Determine the voltage, current, power in circuit by using Nodal and Mesh analysis,
• Apply  Norton's Theorem and Thevenin's theorem to reduce complex circuit,
• analyse the current by finding the values of electrical quantities using some important network theorems, and
• Describe some of the transformation techniques to convert a voltage source to a current source and vice-versa.
