The Internet user is not a pasty-faced computer nerd. As a total, Internet users are an elite group. They tend to be younger, more prosperous, better educated, and more male than the common population. However, almost female usage equals males. Net users come from all of the age groups, approximate half are 40 years or older, they differ psycho graphically from the common population, and they differ in their approaches to purchasing and in their responses to marketing. Still Teens are a targeted group. The seniors group is also expected to rise in the next several years.
