Major Components of a Diesel Engine:

To know how a diesel engine operates, an understanding of the main parts and how they work together is essential. Below Figure is an instance of a medium-sized, supercharged, four-stroke, diesel engine along with inlet ports and exhaust valves. Figure gives a cross section of a likewise sized V-type diesel engine.
