Safety Criteria:

Under security criteria, we let the flammability, toxicity, action on perishable food and development of explosive compound on exposure to air. An ideal refrigerant must be non-flammable, non-toxic, have no influence on food products and must not react with atmospheric air. No refrigerant satisfy these criteria completely. Therefore we may group refrigerants into different sub-groups depend on their toxicity and flammability levels.
