Summary

So many tools are used in foundry industries in order to perform different operations. The principle casting tools are hand tools, mechanical and containers tools. Hand tools contain vent wire, lifter, slick, rammer, shovel, swab, clamps gagger, riddle, trowel, mallet, bellow, etc. Mechanical tools are commonly used in automated foundries. Mechanical tools include several types of sand slingers, molding machines, core making and baking equipment, mechanical conveyors, sand mixers and aerators etc. Containers are employed for carrying sand molds and molten metal from one place to other. These involve ladle, molding box, crucible etc.
