Cytoskeleton
Cells are an internal scaffold called the cytoskeleton in the cytosol of eukaryotic. In altering and maintaining the shape of the cell the cytoskeleton is significant, in enabling cells as white blood cells and sperm to move from one place to another, in transporting intracellular vesicles, and in pulling the chromosomes apart at mitosis and then dividing the cell in 2. 3 types of fiaments make up the cytoskeleton: intermediate filaments, microfilaments and microtubules, each have distinct mechanical properties and dynamics.
