Multi-branched cycloalkanes:
Branched cycloalkanes comprising different substituents are numbered like that the alkyl substituent comprising alphabetical priority is at position 1. The numbering of the rest of the ring is then performed like that the substituent positions add up to a minimum. For instance, the structure in above diagram is termed as 1-ethyl-3-methylcyclohexane rather than 1-methyl-3-ethylcyclohexane or 1-ethyl-5-methylcyclohexane.
The last name is not correct because the total acquired by adding the substituent positions together is 5+1 + 6 which is higher as compared to the total acquired from the correct name (that is 1+3+4).
