Potential Difference is Necessary for Current

1. The number of free electrons that may be forced to drift through the wire to generate the moving charge based upon the amount of potential difference across the wire, along more applied voltage, the forces of repulsion and attraction might make more free electrons drift, generating more current.
2. Having zero potential difference across the wire, there shall be no current.
3. As consider another case, connecting the similar potential across the terminals of a wire shall result in no current flow.
