Induced Draft Cooling Towers:
Induced draft cooling towers, described in below figure, are constructed like that the incoming circulating water is dispersed by the cooling tower through a spray header. A spray is directed down over baffles that are designed to maximize the contact among water and air. The air is drawn by the baffled area through large circulating fans and causes the evaporation and a cooling of the water.
