Contour Interval
The vertical distance among any two consecutive contours is known as contour interval. Contour interval is remain constant for a contour plant. Contour interval depends upon the subsequent factors:
(a) Nature of the ground,
(b) Scale of the map,
(c) Purpose and extent of survey, and
(d) Time and funds.
