Ladle
A ladle is employed to receive the molten metal from the melting furnace and pour similar into the mold. The size of it is designated by the metal holding capacity. Diagram shows a common ladle used in the industry.

Ladles facilitate a better pouring control and make sure more safety for workers. Ladle contains an outer casting made up of steel plate bent and welded in proper shape. A refractory lining is given inside the casting. The casing is shaped that is why it has controlled and well directed flow of a molten metal.
