Calculate the amount of Calcium:
We can calculate the amount of Ca, Ba and Sr as follows:
From the amount of CO2 (m4) formed through the decomposition of SrCO3, we could calculate the mass of SrCO3. Concurrently from the mass of CO2 (m3) formed through the decomposition of CaCO3, we can compute the amount of CaCO3.
From thermogram we know the total mass of all the carbonates, so through subtracting the amount of carbonates of Ca + Sr, we will get the mass of BaCO3.
From the mass of CaCO3, SrCO3 and BaCO3 we could compute simply the amount of Ca, Sr and Ba present in the mixture. To the steps discussed above we could arrived on the subsequent formula to compute the amount of Ca = mCa, Sr = mSa, Ba = mBa.
Amount of Ca (mCa) = 0.91068 × m3
Amount of Sr (mSr) = 1.9911 × m4
Amount of Ba (mBa) = 0.58603 × m s- 1.9457 × m3 - 2.5788 × m4
