COMMUNICATION STRATEGY
Communication skills turn out to be more, not less, significant as you development up the corporate stepladder. In fact, more than a few studies have shown that CEOs expend as much as 85 percent of their time communicating. Most managers have erudite to think deliberately about their business overall, but few think intentionally about what they spend most of their time doing communicating. That executive communication is only victorious if you obtain the preferred retort from your spectators to get that response, you have to think deliberately about your communication before you found to write or converse.
In addition, a more planned focus on communication allows managers to conclude their communicator strategy, to analyze their audiences, to determine whether their messages should be circuitous or roundabout, and to choose the appropriate communication channel.
