SOLUTION:

Now for the short circuit state the network takes the appearance of the diagram. and V0 may be find out by KVL  equation in the output section

                                                            +5 - 0.7 - V0 = 0

                                                                           V0 = 4.3V

                        For the input section KVL equation shall result in

                                                            -20 +Vc + 0.7 - 5 =0

                                                                                  Vc = 25 - 0.7 =24.3V

                        For the time period t2 to t3 the network shall now appear as in diagram. By  applying KVL equatin

                                                                        10 + 24.3 - V0 = 0

                                                                        V0 = 34.3V
