Spiral Stairs
Commonly these stairs are used as emergency exits. It consists of a central post in the form of a spiral supporting a series of steps arranged. Continuous hand rail is provided at the end of steps. Where space available such stairs are provided for stairs is very much limited. Given figure shows a typical spiral stair. Steel, Cast iron, or R.C.C. is used for building these stairs.
