Micro Wave Instruments

These instruments make use of micro waves. Such instruments were invented in the year 1950 by Dr. T.L. Wadley in South Africa and named the instrument as Tellurometers. The instrument requires 12 to 24 V batteries only. Therefore they are light and highly portable. Tellurometers may be used in day or night. The range of this instrument is up to 100 km. It consists of two similar units. One unit is as a master unit and the other unit as remote unit. A master unit can be converted into a remote unit and a remote unit into a master unit just by pressing a button,. It requires two skilled persons to operate. A speech facility is provided during measurements to each operator to interact.
