CONVENTIONAL SYMBOLS

For building drawings and architectural and IS 962-1989, 'code of practice has mention standard symbols for different type of objects as shown in given table.

If coloured plans are to be made, the code recommends light washes are following:

1.   For buildings - Light grey colour
2.   For water - Borders edged having Prussian blue colour
3.   For trees -    Green colour.
4.   For roads - Burnt sienna colour
5.   For compound walls - Indigo colour
