Computation of Areas of Regular Figures

For calculating areas Expressions may be noted are following:

(a) Triangle:

(i) If base width is b and height is 'h',

(ii) If a, b and c are the sides of a triangle,

where                                                       

(b) Rectangle:

 If b and 'd' are the dimension of a rectangle,

                                                            A = bd  

(c) Trapezium:

  , where d is stand for the distance between two parallel sides and h1 and h2 are lengths of parallel sides
