Saturated and Superheated Vapors
When a substance exists completely as vapor at saturation temperature, it is termed as saturated vapor. At times the term dry saturated vapor is employed to emphasize that the quality is 100%. Whenever the vapor is at a temperature more than the saturation temperature, it is said to subsist as superheated vapor. The temperature and pressure of superheated vapor are sovereign properties, as the temperature might rise whereas the pressure stays constant. Really, the substances we call gases are extremely superheated vapors.
