Factors that cause Changes in Supply:

Changes in any of the following factors will cause a change in supply thereby completely shifting the supply curve:

• Prices of Inputs

• Technology

• Prices of other products/outputs

• Government Fiscal Policies (Taxes and Subsidies)

• Weather and other Natural Phenomena

• Population of Suppliers.

Note:  A change in the market price of a product does not cause a change in supply of that product but causes a change in quantity supplied.
