Axed Brick Arches
In this arch, the ordinary bricks are roughly cut along with a brick layer axe to form wedge-shaped voussoirs. Because of this the joints are of uniform thickness (3 to 6 mm) along the radial line. Therefore, the appearance of the arch is not extremely pleasant since the bricks cut to wedge- shapes are not finely dressed.
