Microscopic Properties:
A few examples of materials and their bonds are identified in Table.
The category of bond not just determines how well a material is held together, but also denotes what microscopic properties the material possesses. Properties like as the ability to conduct heat or electrical current are determined through the freedom of movement of electrons. This is dependent on the categories of bonding present. Information of the microscopic structure of a material permits us to predict how in which material will behave under certain conditions. On the other hand, a material might be synthetically fabricated along with a given microscopic structure to yield properties desirable for definite engineering applications.
