Collagen
Collagen is a collection of naturally occurring proteins that is found in animals, mainly in the connective and flesh tissues of vertebrates. It is the major part of connective tissue and is the major abundant protein in mammals making up about 25 percent to 35 percent of the overall-body protein content. The Collagen in the form of elongated fibrils which is mostly found in fibrous tissues like as tendon skin and ligament, and is also abundant in cornea, bone, cartilage, the gut, blood vessels, and intervertebral disc. The fibroblast is very general cell that creates collagen. Collagen constitutes one to two % of muscle tissue and accounts for 6 percent of the weight of strong tendinous muscles. A Gelatin which is used in organization and food is collagen which has been irreversibly hydrolyzed.

Collagen is composed of a triple helix that commonly consists of two identical chains the first one is an additional chain which differs slightly in its chemical composition and the second one is The amino acid composition of collagen is atypical for proteins particularly with respect to its high hydroxyproline content.
