Logging to Oracle

To interact with the database and enter into Oracle using SQL * Plus, a username and a password must be given. Logging to Oracle can be done through using either the menu option or through entering Plus80w from Oracle 8 in the Start-Run option.It prompts the user to enter a username and a password. If the system is connected to multi- user environment, the database alias name must be given in the “Host String”.
