Converters:

The actual division of U²³⁵F₆ from U²³⁸F₆ in a gaseous diffusion plant is completed in the converter.  A converter sometimes referred to as a diffuser, holds the barrier tubing by that diffusion takes place. Within the previous section we studied the flow by the converter as a part of a stage. Within this section we will see what takes place within the converter.

In all, the whole cascade holds over 4000 converters -- one in every stage.  A stage size varies along with the location within the cascade as display within the table below.
