NOT Gate
The logic NOT, also called as negation or inversion, involves a single logic variable. It changes value of a bit from 1 to 0, or from 0 to 1, as shown in truth table for logic operations. It is represented by a minus sign in front of a capital letter, from the end of the alphabet (W, X, Y, or Z). It can also be represented by a squiggly dash before the letter, an apostrophe after letter, or a line over letter.
