POWER TRIANGLE:
When direct current has one form of power, instead current has three various forms of power which are associated in a unique relationship. In this lesson, you will learn in which power in AC circuits cannot be calculated in the similar manner as in DC circuits.
DESCRIBE the relationship among apparent, true, and reactive power through definition or through using a power triangle.
DEFINE power factor as it associates to true power and apparent power.
Given the necessary values for resistance (R), voltage (E), reactance (X), impedance (Z), and/or current (I), CALCULATE the subsequent power parts for an AC circuit:
a. True power (P)
b. Apparent power (S)
c. Reactive power (Q)
d. Power factor (pf)
DEFINE the following terms:
a. Leading power factor
b. Lagging power factor
