Printing:
In printing industries, control of humidity is a necessity. In some of printing procedure the paper is run through various different passes, and air conditioning ought to be maintained to provide appropriate registration. If the humidity is not accurately maintained the difficulty of static electricity, curling or buckling of paper or the failure of the ink to dry occur.
Textiles:
As paper, textiles are sensitive to modify in humidity and to a lesser extent modification in temperature. In current textile plants, yarn moves at very high speeds and changes in strength and flexibility of the yarn due to the change in temperature and humidity will therefore affect the production.
