Assignment Help: >> Applications of Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry - Interferences

Interferences:

The interferences are produced through sample matrix that is the non-analyte components of the sample. The interferences could be chemical arising out of molecular species containing analyte that in turn reduce the percentage of gaseous analyte atoms or spectral because of radiation other than the atomic fluorescence. Scattering is another area of concern and appropriate measures required to be taken up to minimise them.  The probable interferences which could influence the results of analysis through AFS are as follows.
