Comparison of RFP and POC Approaches:

a. The time consumed in both approaches is closely same (Prosser and Canty, 1998).

b. Both RFP and POC involve understanding the functions of ERP product.

c. RFP provides only a general idea of how the new processes shall affect the business, POC-approach gives a much better understanding of the new processes and re-engineered business model.
