Extensions for Real-Time Systems

Several  software  applications  are  time  process  and dependent  as more  or much  control  oriented information as data. The real time system must interact with the real worked in a time frame dictated through the real world. The Aircraft avionics manufacturing procedure control consumer industrial and products instrumentation are but a few of 100 of real-time software applications.

To contain the analysis of real-time software a number of extensions to the basic notation for structured analysis have been proposed. These extensions established through Mellor and Ward and Pirbhai and Hatley and enable the analyst to represent control processing and control flow as well as data flow and process.
