The general procedure is as follows:
A known volume of the solution for estimation is placed within the titration cell, needed amount of supporting electrolyte is added and the cell is linked to the terminals of the instrument. The Dissolved oxygen is expelled through passing pure nitrogen gas for 10-15 minutes and initial current is remembered. The known volume of the reagent is added from a microburette, N2 is passed for 2 minutes and then stopped. A current and burette readings are both noted. This process is repeated until enough readings are acquired and the graph acquired gives end point at the intersection.
