Writing of a Welding Procedure specification (WPS)

A typical working procedure specification is written with all the factors of production in mind. Both experience and latest technological awareness help to write an acceptable or successful WPS. The WPS is a list of the following welding variables with the proper values of these entered accordingly.

Filler metal

Preheat / inter pass / post heat

Post weld heat treatment
