Problem:
a) Authoring tools consist of two basic features. First, an authoring facility for creating and editing, and second, a presentation vehicle for delivery. The authoring facility is usually based on a metaphor for organizing information and enabling interactivity. The delivery vehicle enables an end user to view and interact with the product.
For our purposes, authoring tools can be divided into four broad categories, state and write short notes on each of the categories.
b) To effectively record sound, you need to record at thrice the frequency that sound is heard. Therefore, if human hearing ranges up to 20,000 Hz, the sound must be recorded up to 60,000 Hz. This means that the amplitude of the sound must be sampled at these rates for effective capture and eventual playback. Obviously, the higher the sampling rate, the better quality of sound will be recorded.
How far are you agreeable to this statement?
