 (a) log3 (9 x4   / √y)

Solution

log3 (9 x4/ √y) =log ­3 9x4 -  log  y (1/2)

=log ­3 9 + log ­3 x4 -  log  y (1/2)

= 2 + 4 log3x -( ½) log   y
