Working of Editor and debugger:
Editor/Debugger, or commands can be typed from Command Window. For illustration, the dbstop command below will set a breakpoint in the fifth line of this function (that is the action of the if clause), that allows us to type the variable names and/or expressions to examine their values at that point in the execution. The dbcont function can be used to carry on the execution, and dbquit is used to quit the debug mode.
Note that the prompt becomes K>> in the debug mode.
>> dbstop testifelse 5
>> testifelse(-2)
5 disp('In middle of range')
K>> x
x =
-2
K>> 3 < x
ans =
0
K>> 3 < x < 6
1
K>> dbcont
In middle of range
end
>>
By typing the expressions 3 < x and then 3 < x < 6, we can conclude that the expression 3 < x will return either 0 or 1. Both 0 & 1 are less than 6, therefore the expression will always be true, despite of the value of x!
Example of Core objects: The one core graphics object is a line that is also what the plot function produces. Here is an illustration of generating a line object, altering som
function sortrows - sorting strings: The function sortrows sorts each and every row as a block, or group, and it also will work on numbers. Here in this illustration the rows
Example of Median For the vector [1 4 5 9 12 33], the median is the average of the 5 & 9 in the middle: >> median([1 4 5 9 12 33]) ans = 7
Location of a rectangle - graphics objects: The location of a rectangle is [x y w h], where x and y are the coordinates of the lower left point, here w is the width, and h is
Rectangle - graphics objects: The other core graphics object is the rectangle that can have curvature added to it (!!). Merely calling the function rectangle without any argum
Illustration of Input in a for loop: In this illustration, the loop variable iv iterates through the values 1 through 3, therefore the action is repeated three times. The acti
Logical Built-In Functions: There are built-in functions in the MATLAB which are useful in conjunction with vectors or matrices of all logical true or false values; two of the
Vectorizing: In most of the cases in MATLAB, loops are not essential. As MATLAB is written specifically to work with the vectors and matrices, most operations can be completed

Functions which complete a task without returning Values: Most of the functions do not compute values, but instead of accomplish a task like printing formatted output. As thes
