Working of Editor and debugger:
Editor/Debugger, or commands can be typed from Command Window. For illustration, the dbstop command below will set a breakpoint in the fifth line of this function (that is the action of the if clause), that allows us to type the variable names and/or expressions to examine their values at that point in the execution. The dbcont function can be used to carry on the execution, and dbquit is used to quit the debug mode.
Note that the prompt becomes K>> in the debug mode.
>> dbstop testifelse 5
>> testifelse(-2)
5 disp('In middle of range')
K>> x
x =
-2
K>> 3 < x
ans =
0
K>> 3 < x < 6
1
K>> dbcont
In middle of range
end
>>
By typing the expressions 3 < x and then 3 < x < 6, we can conclude that the expression 3 < x will return either 0 or 1. Both 0 & 1 are less than 6, therefore the expression will always be true, despite of the value of x!
Opening and Closing a File: The Files are opened with the fopen function. By the default, fopen function opens a file for reading. If the other mode is preferred, a permission
Variable packages: Variable packages are now the vector of structures, hence each and every element in the vector is a structure. To show one element in the vector, an index i
Properties of the text box - graphics objects: By using get will show properties of the text box, the illustration is as shown below: >> get(thand) BackgroundColor
Nested for Loops: The action of a loop can be any of the valid statement(s). Whenever the action of a loop is the other loop, this is known as nested loop. As an illustrati
Data structure layers: There are many layers in this variable. For illustration, cyls is the whole data structure, that is a vector of structs cyls(1) is a separate
Advanced File Input and Output: In that section, we saw how to read the values entered by user using the input as well as the output functions disp and fprintf, that shows inf
Illustration of Input in a for loop: In this illustration, the loop variable iv iterates through the values 1 through 3, therefore the action is repeated three times. The acti
Curve Fitting: The data is fundamentally either discrete or continuous. In most of the applications, data is sampled, for illustration, The temperature recorded every ho
Illustrations of Sequential search: The two illustrations of calling such function is as shown below: >> values = [85 70 100 95 80 91]; >> key = 95; >> seqsearch
Rectangle - graphics objects: The other core graphics object is the rectangle that can have curvature added to it (!!). Merely calling the function rectangle without any argum
