Q. What are the physiological systems known as integrative systems? Why is this designation justified?

The integrative systems are the endocrine system and the nervous system. The designation is justified since both regulate biological functions and systems control and act at distance receiving information from tissues and organs and sending effector commands (nervous impulses or hormones) to organs and tissues thus integrating the body.
