Why does heated air expand?
Temperature is often explained as the average thermal energy of the substance at hand. Therefore the hotter a substance is the more thermal energy it has. For most substances the statistical mechanics formula, (3/2) kT works fine. In the preceding formula, k is the Boltzmann constant and T is the absolute temperature.
As thermal energy enhances, the molecules of a substance move faster. These molecules hit other molecules faster and harder and bounce away from collisions faster and harder. Without a container to limit its shape, a gas will merely expand. Were a container present, the pressure of the gas in the container would enhance.
a tiny air bubble inside a glass slab appears to be 6 cm deep when viewed from one side and 4 cm deep when viewed from other side. find the thickness of slab
How do you calculate the initial velocity?
Transverse Waves: The traveling waves in which particles of the elastic medium vibrate about perpendicular to the direction of propagation of waves are known as transverse wave
Phenomenon of resonance At resonance, rapid transfer of energy takes place resulting louder sound (booming sound). If two bodies having same natural frequency is placed side b
the energy stored in the capacitor decreases with time as the capacitor discharges. After how many time constant is this stored energy one forth its initial value
Give the theory of plane diffraction grating for normal incidence.
Eye Chamber: The ball is separated into two chamber, the aqueous chamber and the vitreous chamber. Working: Parallel rays from an object converged by the eye lens and b
Define: Electric potential. The electric potential in an electric field at a point is define as the amount of work done in moving a unit positive charge from infinity to that
explain diffrent phases of liquid crystal
Light described at a place by the equation E=100[sin(5*10^15)t + sin(8*10^15)t] falls on the metal surface having work function 2eV.calculate the maximum kinetic energy of photoel
