Why are teachers so picky about proofreading, English

Assignment Help:

Why are teachers so picky about proofreading?

After laboring through all those drafts, sweating out those transitions, and fighting with those awful introductions, nobody wants to proofread. But spelling mistakes, incorrect grammar, and scraps left over from word-processing maneuvers will make all your hard work look sloppy.

A picky teacher is actually doing you a favor. In the business and professional worlds, typos, grammatical errors, and misspellings cause people to wonder if you care enough about your work.

Reading aloud can help you catch errors; it also helps to have someone else look at your work.
