Which is factual of the light from an actual physical object whose image is formed by a single thin lens?
Ans:
That's what light perform when it leaves a point on an object. It diverges. Regard as two (light) wave crests leaving a point on the object at the same time each on a different straight line path away from the point. The more time those wave ridges have been travelling the farther they aren't only from their common point of origin but from each other.
When the wavelength of wave remains unchanged, the scattering is known as elastic.
