Assignment Help:

Q. Which are the structures that are part of the nervous system?

The structures that form the nervous system can be divided into the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the central nervous system (CNS)

The organs of the CNS are the spinal cord and brain- brainstem, cerebrum and cerebellum. The PNS is made of neural ganglia and nerves. Besides these organs the meninges (dura- mater, arachnoid and pia-mater) are part of the nervous system too since they cover and protect the spinal cord and the encephalon.
