What work goes on previous to project start-up?

Before project start-up, work is required to establish the things and scope of the project. Where the growth work is to be undertaken through an external supplier, here may also be a procedure of tendering and negotiating an appropriate form of contract for the project.

Moreover, the project may be preceded through a feasibility study that is designed to set-up the business case for the project and possibly to explore optional methods of meeting the perceived business require.
