What the question is asking, History

Assignment Help:

I understand that the rural poor didn't have the freedom to ask for higher wages or less hours or better working conditions, however I don't know how they felt the government should help. I do also get how the elite were striving for an aristocratic life, is this what the question is asking?

I'm using "Give Me Liberty!" volume 2 by Eric Foner
