Q. What is utility of computer- wide systems to manufacturing operations?

Enterprise-wide systems (ERP systems) also considered as enterprise computing or enterprise resource planning (ERP). Enterprise-broad systems are information systems which are used during a company or enterprise. A company-broad computer software system utilized to manage and coordinate whole the resources, functions and information of a business. To be looking at an ERP system, a software package should give the function of at least two systems for example, payroll and accounting functions when integrated, could be technically seems as an enterprise-wide systems package. Enterprise-wide systems is the latest extension of MRP (material requirements planning, in that case later manufacturing resource planning) systems as well as CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing).
