Q. What is tubal pregnancy?
Many times fecundation takes place in the Fallopian tubes in general the newly formed zygote is taken to the uterus where nidation and the embryonic development take place. In some cases however the zygote cannot go down to the uterus and the embryo implants itself in the uterine tube tissue it characterizing the tubal pregnancy. Tubal pregnancy is a severe clinical condition since often the tube ruptures during gestation causing hemorrhage and even death of the woman. The most common cure for tubal pregnancy has been surgery.
