A certain bank pays 3.4% interest per year for a certificate of deposit, or CD. What is the total balance of an account after 18 months along with an initial deposit of $1,250?

Use the formula C = 5/9 (F - 32). Substitute the Fahrenheit temperature of 23° for F in the formula. This results within the equation C = 5/9 (23 - 32). Subsequent the order of operations, start calculations inside the parentheses ?rst and subtract 23 - 32 to get -9. Multiply 5 times -9 to obtain an answer of -5°.
