What is the procedure of uristix, Biology

Assignment Help:

What is the Procedure of Uristix

1. Collect the urine.

2. Remove one strip from bottle and replace cap.

3. Completely immerse reagent areas of the strip in urine and remove immediately to avoid dissolving out reagents.

4. While removing, run the edge of the entire length of the strip against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine. Hold the strip horizontally to prevent possible mixing of chemicals from adjacent areas and/or contaminating hands with urine.

5. Compare reagent areas to corresponding colour chart on the bottle label at the times specified. Hold close to colour blocks & match carefully. Avoid laying the strip directly on the colour chart which will soil the chart. Or follow the directions given in the manual.
